Senior Software Engineer, Windows

We're looking for talented engineers to develop innovative, robust, and solid software for many aspects of our remote presence products. You will focus on turning customer and business needs into product functionality, creating the infrastructure necessary to operate our company, and making the entire engineering team more effective.

Our Windows client is hugely important to us in providing a world class desktop productivity experience for our Beam users.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and build key components of our Windows client app and other Windows developments
• Develop and iterate prototypes of new product concepts and technical solutions
• Build and improve internal engineering productivity tools
• You will have the chance to work on user visible features like navigation re-designs and sharing while also being instrumental in our overall client re-architecture.

Skills / Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent)
• Solid knowledge of data structures, object oriented programming and design, and algorithms
• Extensive programming experience in C/C++ (3+ years), QT
• Willingness to take on new challenges and solve unfamiliar problems
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML5
• Web Application development experience (5+ years)
• Proven track record of building and shipping applications that delight customers
• Windows development experience a big plus
• Strong engineering fundamentals and a proponent of best coding practices
• Strong collaboration skills
• Exposure to Agile development framework
