This is an opportunity to take ownership of high-visibility topics and grow into a trusted sparring partner for management and the wider finance team. \nWhat you will do \nReview monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes (Fixed Assets, Receivables, Payables, Accruals, Tax, Revenue, COGS, and Lease Accounting) under IFRS for the Group's more complex entities \nPerform analytical reviews of P&L and balance sheet accounts, investigating variances and validating financial results \nReconcile the Group's inventory position and goods movements, determining the financial impact of management estimates \nPrepare statutory financial statements and support external reporting requirements (IFRS and local GAAP) at Group and local level \nCoordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax specialists, and advisors at Group and local level \nEnsure tax compliance (corporate income tax, VAT) and support related filings \nDrive process improvement initiatives, including accounting manual updates, master data optimization, automation, and internal controls \nAdvise on the further professionalization of the Financial Control function \nAct as a sparring partner for the management team, finance team, operational departments, and external auditors \nLead CSR reporting initiatives from a Financial Control perspective and coordinate the related audit as part of the annual Group audit \nWho you are \nExperience: Approximately 7-10 years of experience in a similar position or as an auditor, with a solid background in accounting and/or control \nReporting expertise: Strong knowledge of financial statements and external reporting under Dutch GAAP and IFRS \nTechnical background: Experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidations \nEducation: Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field; a professional accounting qualification (e.g., RA or equivalent) is strongly preferred \nMindset: Analytical, hands-on, result-driven, and quality-focused, with a strong team-player attitude \nAdaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, international environment \nTools: Strong Excel skills \nCommunication: Fluent in English, written and spoken \nWhat you will get \nAutonomy: We empower you to take ownership, make meaningful decisions, and drive impact without layers of sign-off. \nGrowth: We see your potential as a key asset.
