This role involves managing month-end and year-end close procedures, coordinating statutory reporting and external audits, and ensuring tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven finance professional to make a strategic impact within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment. \nWhat you will do \nReview monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processes, including fixed assets, receivables, accruals, tax accounts, revenue, COGS, and lease accounting under IFRS. \nPerform analytical reviews of P&L and balance sheet accounts, investigating variances and validating financial results. \nPrepare statutory financial statements and support external reporting requirements under IFRS and local GAAP. \nCoordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax specialists, and advisors. \nEnsure tax compliance, including corporate income tax and VAT, and support related filings. \nManage monthly consolidation procedures and intercompany eliminations. \nDrive process improvement initiatives, such as accounting manual updates, master data optimization, and automation opportunities. \nSupport the further professionalization of the Financial Control function. \nAct as a sparring partner for the management team, finance team, operational departments, and external auditors. \nContribute to sustainability and CSR reporting initiatives. \nWho you are \nExperience: Approximately 3-6 years of relevant work experience in a similar position or as an auditor, with a solid background in accounting and/or control. \nEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field. \nTechnical skills: Strong knowledge of financial statements and external reporting standards (Dutch GAAP and IFRS), with strong Excel skills. \nSoft skills: Analytical mindset, hands-on mentality, result-driven and quality-focused, with a strong team-player attitude. \nLanguage: Fluent in English, written and spoken. \nMindset: Thrives in a dynamic, international, fast-paced environment. \nWhat you will get \nAutonomy: We empower you to take ownership, make meaningful decisions, and drive impact without layers of sign-off. \nGrowth: We see your potential as a key asset.
