We’re confident enough to move fast and talented enough not to break things.\nAbout the role\nWe're growing our Engineering Operations function and looking for a Technical Program Manager to embed directly in an engineering pod and make execution predictable, measurable, and fast. You'll own your pod's day-to-day execution, give leadership an accurate picture of where things stand, and help scale the operating model that makes execution repeatable across the engineering organization. A hands-on role for someone who likes both running the machine and improving how it runs.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn execution for your pod: run sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, partnering closely with Product and Engineering leads.\nKeep the pod's work tracked and trustworthy, so status rolls up accurately from task to program level.\nProduce clear, regular status reporting for pod leads and senior leadership, surfacing risks early.\nOwn the metrics that matter: delivery predictability, sprint coverage, spillover, backlog health, and cycle time.\nDrive spec-driven development - ensure work is well-specified before build, and measure and improve time from signed-off spec to shipped code.\nChampion process, tooling, and AI-assisted productivity improvements, feeding durable wins back into the broader operating model.\nWhat you'll gain\nApplied clinical AI fluency - work at the center of an ACI platform spanning ASR, NLP, LLMs, and deep EHR integration, and learn how a real production AI system ships.\nSystems-level judgment - build a rare, end-to-end mental model of how complex software gets built, from spec to production, across Product, Engineering, ML, and QA.\nData and metrics craft - own the instrumentation and dashboards leadership runs on.\nProcess architecture - help design the operating model that scales across the org, not just run an existing playbook.\nExecutive-grade influence - regular exposure to senior leadership and the reps to turn ambiguity into decision-ready narratives.\nWhat we're looking for\n3-5 years as a Technical Program Manager driving delivery for software engineering teams.\nTechnical fluency to navigate the work:- Reads and reasons about system architecture - services, APIs, and how frontend, backend, and ML components fit together.\n- Understands the full software development lifecycle: specs, code review, CI/CD, testing/QA, release, and monitoring.\n- Grounded enough in ML/AI systems to follow conversations about models, data pipelines, evaluation, and what separates a demo from production.\n- Reads a design doc or PRD, asks sharp questions, and spots gaps, assumptions, and risks.\n\n Data and metrics craft: fluent with issue-tracking tools (e.g. Jira), keeps a clean backlog as a single source of truth, and drives improvement with data.\nExcellent written communication: turns messy execution reality into crisp updates for engineers and executives alike, and builds trust fast with Product, Engineering, and Design.\nSound judgment and autonomy: thrives in a fast-moving environment, escalates through the right channels, and knows when to standardize versus adapt.\nTell me more about Suki\nOn a roll: Named by Fast Company as one of the most innovative companies, named Google’s Partner of the Year for AI/ML, named by Forbes as one of the top 50 companies in AI .\nGreat team: Founded, managed, and backed by successful tech veterans from Google and Apple and medical leaders from UCSF and Stanford.
