Typically coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals.\nPosition\n Business Senior Controller\nDepartment\n Finance\nRequired training\nBachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration and Management.\nSpecific knowledge\n Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.\nSolid accounting background with proven experience in financial controlling and collaboration with Shared Service Centers (SSC).\nStrong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost controlling, and management reporting.\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as databases, ERP systems, Business Intelligence tools (Qlik, Power BI), and corporate reporting platforms.\nExcellent understanding of management accounting principles, financial reporting processes, and performance measurement methodologies.\nProfessional proficiency in English (minimum C1 level).\nKnowledge of internal control frameworks, auditing principles, and compliance requirements.\nExperience in cost center structure design and maintenance, profitability analysis, and P&L management across different business units or reporting perimeters.\nFamiliarity with electronic invoicing processes and invoicing platforms is considered a strong advantage. \nProfile & Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nResults-oriented mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional and international environments.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProactive approach to process improvement, automation, and continuous optimization of financial processes.\nRequired experience\n Minimum of 3 years as Financial Controller, Accounting Auditor, Senior Accountant, Internal Control, or similar in an internationally oriented company.\nHierarchical dependence\n Finance Manager\nFunction Description\nPrepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for Corporate Headquarters, ensuring compliance with Group reporting requirements.\nManage the financial closing process, including inventory valuation, revenue recognition, accruals and provisions, depreciation, intercompany reconciliations, and other accounting adjustments.\nSupport budgeting and forecasting activities, providing clear variance analyses against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance.\nMonitor business performance and financial KPIs, identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement to support management decision-making.\nProvide analytical support.\nCoordinate activities performed by the Shared Service Center (SSC) and external Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) providers, ensuring service quality, compliance, and efficiency.\nEnsure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records in accordance with local GAAP, Group accounting policies, and internal control requirements.\nSupport in internal control procedures, financial processes, and reporting tools to strengthen compliance and operational effectiveness.\nPrepare and maintain management reports, dashboards, and business performance analyses for senior management and Group stakeholders.\nSupport project accounting and contract profitability analysis, including monitoring work-in-progress, revenue recognition, milestone billing, and customer invoicing.\nCollaborate with Finance Management on strategic initiatives, business cases, investments, and continuous improvement projects.\nWhat we offer you\nMinimum Salary for the position: 38.918 euro.
