This entry-level role supports production by performing basic tasks and learning to operate equipment safely and efficiently.\nThis job profile is intended for entry-level support staff who follow specific instructions and procedures, with supervision provided for non-routine situations. Tasks can be carried out after basic training or demonstration.\nSUMMARY: Under the direction of a supervisor is responsible for the quality of parts produced on CNC machines such as CNC lathe, CNC drill, CNC mill, or CNC machining center to perform operations within the capability of the machine.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\n· Selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments,\naccessories and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig bores, grinders\nand shapers.\n· Measures and marks dimensions and reference points on material or work piece\nas guides for subsequent machining.\n· Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining\nand adjusts machine controls or control media as required.\n· Responsible for deburring own parts before moving parts to the next stage.\n· Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane proficiently.\n· Ability to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job.\n· Regular and reliable attendance\n· Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and EHS\nmanagement system which includes following all safety, health and environmental\npolicies and procedures.
