Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.\nAbout the role\nSummary: The CNC Operator & Welder works under limited supervision to set-up and operate machine tools without assistance while following company policy and work instructions in a production environment. Machine tools include horizontal cnc machining centers, cnc lathes, manual lathes, milling machines, and a radial drill press. Welding certifications or education is required. Other essential functions will be to manually grind material for the impeller balancing operation and perform other duties as required for production to meet on-time delivery demands.Essential Functions:\nMachining experience is preferred. \nAbility to weld tig or stick stainless materials. \nKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is required.\n\nSet up and operate manual machines such as mills, lathes, and the radial drill.\nAbility to build tooling and fixtures for machine tools.\nPerform quality checks per work instruction.\n\nMaintain production flow to meet on-time delivery.\nPerform corrective action and move from welding to machining or balancing as necessary.\nFollows quality procedures according to ISO 9001.\nSafety obligations:All employees understand and can explain the structure and objectives of the SBP.\nAll employees follow the safety rules.\nAll employees have \"the right and duty to intervene\" in the event a safety concern becomes evident.
