About the role
Job SummaryThe Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of junior sales staff, ensuring daily sales operations run smoothly, and supporting the achievement of sales targets. This role provides coaching, monitors performance, and ensures compliance with company policies.
This job profile is intended for People Managers of 4+ junior to experienced expert-level roles.
This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium organization.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily activities of the sales team.
Assign tasks and monitor progress toward goals.
Provide training and support to new hires.
Ensure adherence to sales processes and policies.
Handle customer issues and escalate when necessary.
Track and report team performance.
Support implementation of sales initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and 6+ years of relevant work experience are minimally required to be able to manage and coordinate one or more expert-level teams.
Experience in sales or customer service supervision.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to motivate and coach team members.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting.
Problem-solving and organizational abilities.
