Following significant recent investment, the site is rapidly evolving, strengthening capabilities in advanced machining, digital engineering, testing and innovation-and serves as an end-to-end hub where new pumps are brought to life from concept and design through to manufacture, testing, delivery and full lifecycle support..We are now looking for a Factored Buyer to join our Supply Chain team and play a key role in ensuring the seamless procurement of externally manufactured components, assemblies and engineered products that support our customer commitments across the globe.\nWhat you'll be doing\nManaging the end-to-end procurement process for factored and engineered products.\n\nRaising and managing purchase orders in line with business requirements.\n\nDeveloping strong relationships with suppliers to ensure delivery, quality and cost expectations are achieved.\n\nMonitoring supplier performance and proactively resolving shortages, delays and supply chain risks.\n\nNegotiating pricing, lead times and commercial terms to deliver value to the business.\n\nSupporting supplier selection, qualification and development activities.\n\nWorking closely with Production Planning to ensure material availability aligns with customer demand.\n\nCollaborating with Engineering teams on technical sourcing requirements and new product introductions.\n\nSupporting inventory optimisation and working capital improvement initiatives.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nPrevious experience in a Buyer, Factored Buyer, Procurement or Supply Chain role within manufacturing, engineering or an OEM environment.\n\nProven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively.\n\nExperience purchasing engineered components, fabricated products, castings, machined parts or technical equipment would be advantageous.\n\nStrong commercial awareness and analytical skills.\n\nAbility to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nProficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.\n\nCIPS qualification or working towards CIPS is desirable.\n\nWhat we offer you\nWe’ve recently invested significantly in modernising our Leeds facility - creating a brighter, more efficient, and more advanced workspace designed to support high-quality work and a great employee experience.
