Based in Aberdeen and operating globally, we help customers maximise reliability, performance and availability of their critical assets, both onshore and offshore.Due to an internal promotion we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer (Field Service) to join our growing team. This is a highly visible role where you'll act as the technical focal point for field service projects, supporting the planning, mobilisation, execution and close-out of gas turbine maintenance activities across customer sites. You'll work closely with Field Service Engineers, Project Teams and customers to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nLeading the preparation and execution of field service projects\nDeveloping work packs, execution plans and RAMS documentation\nActing as the key technical interface between Sulzer and our customers\nSupporting field service teams before, during and after site activities\nProviding technical guidance on gas turbine maintenance and troubleshooting\nParticipating in site surveys and customer visits\nReviewing and improving field service processes and documentation\nSupporting outage planning, mobilisation activities and reporting\nIdentifying opportunities to improve customer support and generate future business\nWhat We're Looking For\nExperience working with industrial gas turbines, power turbines or rotating equipment\nKnowledge of field service environments, ideally within energy, power generation, oil & gas or related sectors\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\nComfortable working both independently and as part of a wider project team\nWillingness to travel and support onshore and offshore projects when required\nJob Location\nThis is a highly visible role that sits at the heart of our field service operations. You'll regularly interface with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are planned, coordinated and delivered successfully from start to finish.\nThe position offers a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, with the opportunity to be primarily home-based and manage your own diary. However, it is not a fully remote role.
