We're looking for an experienced Inhouse Consultant BI & Analytics to join our Global IT BI & Analytics team in Madrid and help drive our data-driven transformation.\nThis is not a pure IT development role. We are looking for someone who can combine strong technical expertise with business consulting skills, building trusted relationships with senior leaders across the business while delivering innovative analytics solutions.\nAs part of our global BI & Analytics team, you will work closely with business stakeholders across Sulzer to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and deliver solutions that drive better decision-making.\nKey responsibilities include:\nPartnering with business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions\n\nDesigning, developing and enhancing enterprise BI applications using Qlik Sense\n\nDelivering meaningful insights and dashboards that support strategic and operational decision-making\n\nWorking with Snowflake and modern data platforms to create trusted, scalable data solutions\n\nSupporting Sulzer's \"One Sulzer\" harmonisation strategy through standardised reporting and analytics\n\nDriving self-service analytics and data literacy across the organisation\n\nExploring and implementing emerging technologies including AI, Generative AI, Copilots and Agentic AI solutions\n\nBuilding intelligent applications and data products that connect to Sulzer's modern data platform\n\nCollaborating with Data Engineering teams to develop robust data models and scalable solutions\n\nActing as a trusted advisor to both business and IT stakeholders globally\n\nEssential Skills & Experience\n\nMinimum 5 years' experience in a Business Intelligence, Analytics or Inhouse Consulting role\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense\n\nAdvanced SQL skills\n\nExperience working with senior business stakeholders\n\nStrong business consulting and stakeholder management skills\n\nExperience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions\n\nExcellent communication and presentation skills\n\nHighly Desirable\n\nExperience with Snowflake\n\nKnowledge of modern data warehousing concepts\n\nExperience with dbt\n\nExposure to Power BI, Tableau or Looker\n\nExperience in AI, Generative AI, Copilots or emerging analytics technologies\n\nExperience working within an international or global organisation\n\nThe Opportunity\nThis is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of business, data, analytics and AI.
