Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.Your main tasks and responsibilities: \nPortfolio & Project Management\nLead and guide overall execution of multiple IT Projects, ensuring alignment with Sulzer’s strategic priorities. \nMonitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery, budget adherence and manage interdependencies between projects. \nMaintain project documentation, status reports, and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders. \nGovernance & Methodology\nApply and promote consistent project management methodologies, tools, and reporting standards. \nEnsure compliance with governance frameworks and contribute to process improvement initiatives. \nStakeholder Management\nBuild strong relationships with business leaders and IT stakeholders to ensure project objectives meet business needs, leading the IT project Steering Committees. \nAct as a key point of contact for project-related communication and issue resolution. \nProactively engage in business partnering, acting as a trusted advisor to business divisions and supporting the identification, prioritization, and management of IT demands to maximize value delivery. \nDemand Management\nLead the demand management process by capturing, evaluating, and prioritizing business requirements, ensuring alignment with Sulzer’s strategic objectives and resource availability. \nFacilitate transparent decision-making on project selection and resource allocation. \nVendor & Financial Management\nSupport vendor selection, contract management, and performance tracking for project-related services. \nAssist in project budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking. \nOperational Excellence\nDrive efficiency in project delivery and resource allocation. \nChampion continuous improvement and simplification across project processes and tools. \nSulzer Core Ambition Program\nActively contribute to the SulzerCore Ambition Program by ensuring that all project and portfolio activities support the organizations goals and strategic ambitions. \nTeam Collaboration & Development\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to a culture of accountability and excellence. \nMentor junior project managers or team members as needed. \nDrive efficiency across IT operations, including resource allocation, vendor management, and performance tracking. \nChampion continuous improvement and simplification across the IT landscape, including consolidation of tools and platforms. \nOneSulzer Culture\nPromote and embody the OneSulzer mindset by fostering collaboration with an “Entrepreneurial spirit and teamwork”, challenging the status quo, and supporting a unified, “Customer focus” culture across all divisions and teams. \nDesired Experience & Qualifications\n9+ years of professional experience in IT and business/industry environments\nAt least 5 years of experience in team management and leadership roles\nStrong experience with project methods and methodologies\nSolid knowledge of operating models (Ops Models)\nProven experience in financial management within IT or project-driven environments\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field\nProject management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent practical experience\nFluent in English\nStrong leadership and communication skills\nProven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously\nExperience in stakeholder engagement and change management\nAnalytical mindset with strong attention to detail\nAbility to work effectively in a dynamic, multicultural environment\nExcellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate technical solutions into business terms\nDeep appreciation for Sulzer’s divisional complexity and entrepreneurial culture\nAbility to challenge the status quo and promote a unified OneSulzer mindset\nStrategic thinker with strong operational rigor and a clear bias for execution\nWhat we offer you\nA permanent contract.\nA competitive salary as well as participation in the variable remuneration system based on personal and financial objectives.\nRestaurant tickets\nBe part of an experienced, international team.\nA good vibe working environment.\nEnjoy great office facilities and a perfect location in Madrid Nuevos Ministerios, making your work experience both comfortable and convenient.\nOther fringe benefits\nNo visa or work permit support can be provided for this role.\nSulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
