This role applies engineering principles to the development and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. The position involves working independently with general supervision and may influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.\nThis job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision.\nJob Description\nexamining gas turbine components and repair specifications agreed with the customer, and assessing repairability on this basis;\nspecifying the repair path and drafting a work procedure and method in accordance with technical specifications;\napplying technologies (including new technologies) to repair procedures;\npreparing preliminary costings and prices for cost estimators and Sales;\nmaking constructive contributions to repair projects, which involves production, process, sales, development engineering, quality control, operators and other areas;\nproject monitoring with regard to both time and use of resources.\nexamining order conditions and entering material details in the information system;\ndeveloping tools;\nproviding technical support for production orders and solving production problems;\nproviding support for outsourcing and drafting technical specifications;\nensuring proper documentation of executed orders (including work specifications, production calculations, drawings and other specifications);\nmaintaining repair procedures;\ngenerating customer reports;\nensuring that the desired quality is achieved.\nDesired experience and qualifications\nWork experience: >5 years\n Expertise (e.g. professional, technical): expertise in the repair of gas turbines\nEducation: Level: Bachelor Subject: mechanical Engineering\nLanguages: English\n Soft skills: communication and organizational skills\nWhat we offer you\nCareer Opportunities\nSaving Plan\nMedical Benefit\nSulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
