Solutions are typically discussed/verified with a more senior member.\nDesign Engineer- Order Related Engineering (ORE)\nRole Summary\nResponsible for engineering execution of centrifugal pump orders, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, Sulzer standards, quality requirements, and project schedules. The role requires close collaboration with manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and project management teams to support successful order delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute pump orders (OH1,OH2, OH3, BB2,BB3 pumps) from design through manufacturing support.\nPrepare and review engineering drawings, BOMs, datasheets and technical documentation.\nEnsure compliance with customer specifications, API 610, API 682 requirements, and Sulzer standards.\nResolve technical issues and support manufacturing, supplier, and quality teams.\nParticipate in customer and internal technical discussions.\nSupport product standardization, database development, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nContribute to engineering quality, cost optimization, and on-time project execution.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.\nExperience in centrifugal pump engineering and order execution.\nKnowledge of rotating equipment, manufacturing processes, and API standards.\nFamiliarity with SAP systems and engineering documentation tools.\nProficient with NX 3D\nMinimum 5 to 10 years of experience in pump field.\nKey Competencies\nTechnical problem-solving\nTeamwork and collaboration\nCustomer focus\nContinuous improvement mindset\nEffective communication\nOwnership and accountability\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.
