From this facility, we engineer and manufacture some of the largest and most complex pump packages in the world, supporting critical infrastructure projects across the energy, water, industrial and renewable sectors worldwide.Due to recently secured major orders and continued growth, we are looking for a Production Controller to join our Operations team and play a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, scheduling and delivery of customer projects.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nRelease and manage production orders in line with manufacturing capacity and project priorities.\nSelect appropriate routing methodologies to maximise throughput and minimise production bottlenecks.\nMonitor production progress and proactively identify risks to delivery schedules.\nParticipate in daily production planning and scheduling activities.\nSupport the achievement of On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets across the manufacturing operation.\nEnsure all manufacturing activities are fully prepared before work commences.\nVerify availability of engineering drawings, manufacturing documentation, tooling, fixtures, materials and production kits.\nExpedite material shortages, stock transfers, outsourced operations and transport requirements.\nMaintain the integrity and accuracy of SAP production and inventory data.\nManage production orders, non-material orders and associated transactions.\nResolve goods movement exceptions, including COGI and ZMIGO-ERROR transactions.\nSupport accurate WIP management, stock issuing and production order closure activities.\nEnsure system data supports reliable reporting, inventory control and financial accuracy.\nWhat We're Looking For\nExperience in Production Control, Production Planning, Manufacturing Scheduling or a similar operational role.\nStrong experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or project-driven production environment.\nWorking knowledge of SAP, including production order and inventory management processes.\nExcellent organisational, coordination and prioritisation skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capability.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nWhat we offer you\nWe’ve recently invested significantly in modernising our Leeds facility - creating a brighter, more efficient, and more advanced workspace designed to support high-quality work and a great employee experience.
