If you have a mechanical background, experience within rotating equipment and enjoy coordinating complex repair activities, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the future success of the site.\nAbout the Leeds Service Centre\nThe Leeds Service Centre is a specialist facility focused on the inspection, repair, refurbishment and overhaul of critical rotating equipment for customers across a wide range of industries. Our team helps customers maximise reliability, reduce downtime and extend asset life through expert engineering solutions. With continued investment in facilities, people and capability, Leeds is set to become an even more important part of Sulzer's UK service network.\nThe Role\nAs Technical Repair Coordinator, you will act as the technical link between inspection, production, suppliers and customers, ensuring repair scopes are accurately defined, costed and delivered efficiently.\nWorking closely with our engineering and operations teams, you will coordinate both in-house and externally sourced repair activities, helping to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview inspection findings and develop repair proposals.\nCoordinate technical repair activities across internal and external suppliers.\nObtain quotations and cost estimates for repair scopes.\nProduce repair sketches, marked-up drawings and technical documentation where required.\nLiaise with production teams to ensure accurate work instructions and timings are captured.\nSupport supplier management and technical query resolution.\nCoordinate the movement and storage of repair components through the repair process.\nEnsure SAP and associated documentation is updated accurately.\nSupport inspection activities, including incoming goods inspection and NDT where required.\nDrive continuous improvement across repair processes and supplier performance.\nPromote and uphold Sulzer's strong safety culture at all times.\nWhat We're Looking Fo r\nExperience within a service, repair or manufacturing environment.\nStrong understanding of rotating equipment, pumps or related mechanical systems.\nTime-served mechanical background or relevant engineering experience.\nCommercial awareness and an understanding of repair costing.\nExperience using SAP or another ERP system.\nExcellent planning, organisational and communication skills.\nAbility to build relationships across multiple departments and external suppliers.\nA proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail.\nWhat we offer you\nA competitive salary\nA company-wide bonus scheme\nMedicash Health Cash Plan (covering everyday healthcare expenses such as dental, optical and GP services)\n33 days’ holiday\nDefined pension contribution\nEmployee Assistance Programmes\nDiscounts on shopping, entertainment & lifestyle\nCostco membership option\nDiscounted personal car leasing for you, family & friends\nLong Service Awards\nOngoing learning through Sulzer Learning Pathways\nArmed Forces Support - As a Silver Award holder of the MoD Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, we actively support veterans, reservists and Cadet Adult Volunteers.
