You’ll act as a key point of contact for clients, while ensuring high quality, technically sound work is delivered across accounts and tax. You’ll review and coach the work of junior colleagues, contribute to advisory projects and play an important part of building trusted relationships with our clients.\nKey Responsibilities\nThe preparation of year end statutory accounts and corporation tax returns\nPreparation of management accounts for a varied range of clients\nPreparation and/or review of VAT returns\nDevelop strong and lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and becoming a trusted advisor\nManage a client portfolio, ensuring accurate and up to date records\nOversee the preparation and review of client accounts, support client decision-making and contribute to advisory work as needed\nSupervise and mentor junior colleagues, ensuring quality and fostering growth through sound knowledge sharing and hands-on support\nManage your workload and deadlines effectively while ensuring deliver of an exceptional service\n\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\nStudying AAT / ACCA / ACA\nDemonstrable experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice\nA professional, organised approach to work\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy \nExcellent time management and ability to meet deadlines\n\nBelong @ Sumer\nAt Sumer, we know everyone’s journey is different.
