We’re committed to creating an environment where you can grow professionally and personally, with access to mentorship, learning opportunities, and a clear path for progression.\nWe are looking for a Client Manager to run a portfolio of regular clients and deliver their statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage a portfolio of regular clients on monthly, quarterly and annual cycles.\nTake responsibility for delivering statutory accounts (FRS 102 Section 1A) and management accounts.\nPrepare and deliver corporation tax and personal tax returns.\nAssist with basic client tax planning.\nReview the work of junior team members, train and manage them.\nWork closely with the division manager and directors.\nBeyond the regular portfolio, you will be involved in project work including:\nForecasting\nCashflows\nProviding financial and tax due diligence\n\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\nACCA or ICAEW qualified, with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience.\nExperienced in preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102 Section 1A.\nSolid experience of corporation tax and personal tax.\nExperienced in producing management accounts.\nA good working understanding of VAT.\nStrong Excel skills.\nExperience with mainstream accounting platforms such as Xero and Sage.\nExperience of training and managing juniors.\nStrong organisational skills.\nBelong @ Sumer\nAt Sumer, we know everyone’s journey is different.
