You will need to possess extensive technical tax knowledge and be able to provide strategic commercial advice to clients on tax planning and risk management. You will also play a key role in winning new work, managing client relationships, leading projects, and contributing to the growth of our corporate tax advisory service.\nThe Role\nAct as the primary corporate tax advisor for key clients, working closely with lead Partners to deliver tailored tax solutions.\nProvide specialist advice on corporate restructuring, M&A transactions, cross-border taxation, and complex compliance matters.\nLead the delivery of tax advisory projects, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.\nConduct thorough tax research and analysis to deliver practical and innovative solutions to complex client issues.\nStay informed on changes in tax legislation and regulatory requirements, sharing relevant updates with clients and internal teams.\nSupport business development efforts through networking, presentations, and proposal preparation. Leverage our membership in GGI International to generate inbound corporate tax opportunities and coordinate local advice for international projects.\nMentor and support junior staff, offering training and guidance to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.\nAbout You\nSkills and experience:\nProven experience in a corporate tax advisory role.\nCTA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience advising personal and corporate clients.\nStrong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and advisory issues.\nExperience in managing client relationships and leading projects.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.\nStrong leadership skills, with experience in team development and mentoring.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.\nProficient in tax software and relevant tools.\nAn entrepreneurial mindset and enjoyment in identifying business opportunities.\nPassionate about building strong networks and collaboration across teams, whilst taking pride in delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.\nBelong @ Sumer\nAt Sumer, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment, not just as buzzwords, but as the heartbeat of our team.
