Full training and ongoing support will be provided.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssisting with the processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls\nUploading payslips and payroll data to secure online platforms (e.g., Sage)\nHelping to maintain and update employee records with accuracy\nSupporting the team with reporting tasks and submissions to HMRC\nUploading pension information to the appropriate providers\nLearning to handle payroll queries and provide basic guidance to clients\nAssisting with manual calculations and understanding statutory payments\nLearning about deductions such as tax, National Insurance, pensions, and student loans\nGaining an understanding of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) submissions\n\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\nKeen to start a career in payroll or finance\nOrganised and committed to accuracy\nComfortable handling numbers and learning new software systems\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and other IT tools\nA good communicator who enjoys working in a team\nEager to grow in a supportive environment\nExperience using SAGE Payroll or working in an office setting is desirable\n\nBelong @ Sumer\nAt Sumer, we know everyone’s journey is different.
