Whether you're organising village celebrations, coordinating outings, or supporting residents to participate in meaningful experiences, you'll help make every day special.\nIn this role, you will:\nPlan and deliver a diverse range of activities, events, and entertainment for residents.\nOrganise and coordinate special celebrations and themed events, including occasions such as Mid-Winter Christmas and Chinese New Year.\nSupport residents' individual needs while maintaining positive relationships and effective communication with families\nCreate engaging themed environments and decorations that bring village events and celebrations to life.\nFacilitate exercise programmes, recreational activities, sporting events, and resident outings.\nThis is a casual role, working on an as-needed basis, with shifts often offered at short notice.\nPlease click here to view the full job description.\n You'll be someone who brings energy, warmth, and creativity to everything you do, with a passion for helping older people stay active, connected, and engaged. Ideally, you'll have experience in events, hospitality, or aged care, but more important to us is your genuine care for people from all walks of life.\nYou will bring:\nA positive, can-do attitude and the ability to build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.\nExcellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire enthusiasm and encourage participation.\nA genuine interest in supporting older people and promoting positive ageing.\nConfidence using Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple priorities with ease.\nA current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one), an LCQ qualification (or willingness to undertake training), and a full driver's licence.\nAt Summerset Retirement Villages, we believe diversity strengthens our team and enriches the care we provide.
