Assists driver with delivery of product merchandising within large volume stores. While at an account the Driver Helper is responsible for stocking shelves, rotating product, setting up displays, cooler stocking, product rotation, storage room organization, and the efficient movement of product from storage to the sales floor.\nRESPONISIBILITIES\nEssential Functions:\nAssist with deliveries to all scheduled accounts while adhering to all applicable driving and safety regulations.\nUnload and move product repetitively using appropriate equipment throughout shift while maintaining a clean and organized work area.\nStock all windows, cold boxes, coolers, shelves and displays in retail accounts quickly and efficiently as directed by the Delivery Helper Supervisor/Lead Helper/Driver.\nRotate product to ensure quality standards are maintained.\nEffectively communicate issues and opportunities to the Route Driver/Lead Helper or Supervisor as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.\nProfessionalism/Company Guidelines:\nAdhere to Company policies and procedures.\nAdhere to all applicable Federal, state, and local regulations regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.\nMaintain a valid Montana driver’s license and clean driving record\nDoes not abuse equipment and maintain company property such as Company vehicles.\nMaintain appropriate dress and appearance per Company standards.\nRepresent Summit Beverage in a professional and appropriate manner.\nDisplay effective interpersonal communication (supplier, employee, customer).\nDemonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all areas of responsibility to ensure quality of work.\nEstablish and maintain effective working relationships; and\nShow sound judgment, decision-making, and accountability.\nEffectively communicate issues and opportunities to the Route Driver, Lead Helper or Supervisor as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.\nFollow monthly PFP (Pay For Performance) objectives.\nComplete other duties assigned by the Route Driver, Lead Helper, Supervisor, or Director of Delivery Operations\nRequirements\nQUALIFICATIONS and KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nPrevious stocking/merchandising in grocery, retail, or beverage experience a plus.\nValid Montana driver’s license and the ability to be insured under a company insurance policy.\nAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, other governmental agencies, and the public as appropriate.\nAbility to stand/walk for long periods of time (including bending, reaching, lifting, pulling, etc.).\nGood interpersonal and communication skills.\nAbility to work on own initiative and independently with good time management.\nUnderstand and effectively communicate Summit Beverage's organizational mission and goals.\nPHYSICAL and OTHER REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a minimum of four 10-hour days Tuesday - Friday, with rotating Saturdays. The shifts, end times, and total hours worked may vary depending on the season and amount of deliveries, sometimes exceeding 10 hours.\nSeeing: Must be able to read and interpret documentation and use computer/tablet/similar office equipment. Must be able to see to drive. 75-100% of time\nHearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with employees and business contacts. Must be aware of environment when driving. 75-100% of time\nStanding/Walking: 75-100% of time\nClimbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 50-74% of time\nLifting/Pushing/Pulling: Routinely 50-60lbs. Occasionally up to 165lbs.75-100% of time\nGrasping/Feeling/Hand Dexterity: 75-100% of time\nDriving and Travel: 0-24% of time.\nWORKING ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat wet and/or humid conditions while working and traveling between customer accounts. Employees may be exposed to continual movement or vibration while operating the company vehicle. The employee often works near moving mechanical equipment (i.e. forklift/lift gates).
