This role ensures efficient product movement, attractive displays, and proper draft system maintenance while supporting special events operations.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nMerchandising Duties:\nStock, rotate, and face product in coolers, shelves, racks, and displays.\nOrganize and work all back stock as required by Supervisor and Sales Representative.\nPull outdated, damaged, and unsellable products, place in back stock with a note to Salesperson.\nSet up and maintain promotional displays according to company and store standards.\nPerform final walkthrough of accounts for cleanup and trash removal.\nDraft Cleaning Duties:\nClean and sterilize draft systems weekly, including taps, washers, faucets, valves, lines, CO2, and temperature checks.\nComplete instructions left by sales staff promptly and accurately.\nMaintain daily written reports of cleaning activities, issues, and opportunities.\nMove cases of product from on-site cold storage to beverage stations during events.\nLift cases (35-55 lbs.) and push/pull loaded carts (100-150 lbs.); handle kegs up to approximately 165 lbs.\nUnload cases into coolers at beverage stations and adhere to safe lifting practices.\nAssist in resolving customer inquiries and service complaints.\nProfessional & Company Duties:\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures, including federal, state, and local regulations for alcoholic beverage merchandising.\nMaintain valid Montana driver’s license and good driving record.\nProperly maintain company property, including vehicles and equipment.\nMaintain appropriate dress and appearance per company standards.\nDemonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and accountability in all tasks.\nExhibit effective interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.\nEstablish and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.\nRequirements\nQUALIFICATIONS and KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSA)\nAny combination equivalent to the following education and experience that would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities would qualify. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent \nAssociate/Bachelor’s preferred for Draft Technician/Cleaning\nExperience using or operating draft systems preferred. \nPrevious grocery, retail, or beverage merchandising experience preferred. \nAbility to work independently and handle a wide range of tasks.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, other governmental agencies, and the public. \nAbility to stand for long periods of time (including bending, reaching, lifting, pulling, etc.). \nUnderstand and effectively communicate Summit Beverage's organizational mission and goals.\nPHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: This position is typically four, 10-hour days, spent in customer accounts and special events locations, often outside standard business hours. The shifts, end times, and total hours worked may vary depending on the season and potential special events requests.\nSeeing: Must be able to read product labels, read and interpret documentation. The employee may work near moving mechanical parts, in cold coolers and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. Individuals may also be exposed to potential slippery surfaces from spills, high - moderate noise level from event and audience.
