This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete electrical installations and service work.\nESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:\nInstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.\nEnsure work is completed in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes.\nRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.\nTroubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose issues using testing devices.\nInstall electrical components such as panels, circuit breakers, switches, and lighting systems.\nPerform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.\nMaintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment.\nCollaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure project completion.\nDocument work completed and report any issues or safety concerns.\nFollow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.\nUnderstand and follow SFP’s Safety program, SDS book, Hazardous communication program, policies and procedures. Participate in weekly Toolbox talks. Employee must know where all related safety documentation is at all times on each project. \nOther duties may be assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nThe qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications.\nEducation, Training, Certifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent, required. \nValid Electrician License (Journeyman or Master depending on state requirements) preferred or required.\nExperience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:\n3+ years of electrical installation and service experience preferred.\nStrong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting methods.\nAbility to read electrical schematics and blueprints\nTime management and organization\nAbility to work independently and on a team\nCommunication Skills:\nMust have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers. \nSystems and Software Skills:\nAbility to safely use common power and hand tools.\nOther Qualifications:\nValid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required. \nMust be able to comply with SFP’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.\nPHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform Essential Job Duties.\nPhysical Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for long periods, see in color, close and far distances, peripheral, depth, and adjust focus.
