Monitor progress towards agreed upon goals. \nCoordinate with branches on performance, customer service, and compliance issues.\nAssist in establishing annual budgets\nManage, train, and support management in the assigned locations.\nUtilize reporting tools including dashboards to communicate key metrics of performance (KPI’s).\nEnsure progress and attainment of goaled Profit & Loss for each assigned location.\nAttend progress meetings at locations based on the perception of priority. \nOversee profitability of assigned locations’ services including analysis of market conditions, billing rates, costs, trends, and similar.\nCoordinate and monitor scheduling and completion of work orders\nReview and approve bonus or commissions reports as appropriate.\nUtilize accounting software for assistance with (or general knowledge of) billing, tracking costs, etc.\nReview and update best practices and operational standards for accuracy in current procedures.\nReport regularly on the state of operations on each branch and district assigned. \nPartner with managers to review technician routes; adjust to improve efficiency by using business intelligence systems and workflow processes.\nIdentification and implementation of consistent workflows, best practices including, but not limited to, WFM and Project Cost Summaries, processes across the regional footprint.\nBusiness Development\nDevelop and maintain business relationships with new and existing customer base for assigned region; increase key sales.\nAssist with general marketing activities and promotion of services.\nAssist branches with adding product lines and services within the market.\nCoordinate with Director of Service Sales and Regional Sales Manager to achieve business development and growth goals.\nMake sales calls on key customers as warranted by circumstances within region. \nReview and approve job estimates, inspection agreements and service quotes per the Review Matrix. \nIdentify and coordinate with Leadership and Corporate development teams on acquisitions and greenfield start-ups.\nCorporate Collaboration\nProvide leadership of operational procedures and protocols in region such as: purchasing and sourcing, scheduling, coordination of work, billing, and collections; as well as tools, equipment and inventory.\nOversee communication and coordination between assigned locations and shared services such as Purchasing Department, Design Department, Accounting Department, Human Resources Department, Talent Recruiting Department, Safety & Fleet Department, IT Department, Marketing Department, Billing Department and similar.\nEnsure succession planning is achieved by collaborating with location and district leadership in assessing, identifying, cultivating, and mentoring future managers and leaders. \nCollaborate with Human Resources and the managers to ensure that company policies, including Equal Opportunity Employment and Harassment and Discrimination prevention policies, are consistently administered within assigned region. \nMonitor and support employee relations such as recruitment and retention initiatives within assigned region to ensure effectiveness. \nAssist with monitoring and evaluation of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) leads and follow through as appropriate.\nParticipate in the National Marine Division growth plan and strategy \nOther duties may be assigned.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nThe qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications.\nEducation, Training, Certifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, required; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience\nExperience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:\n7 years Fire Protection or similar marine service Industries experience, required.\n5 years leadership experience with over mid-managers including 5 direct reports and 25\nindirect reports, preferred.\n5 years performing sophisticated business analytics using business intelligence systems, ERP systems, or similar, preferred.\nCommunication Skills:\nMust have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees, customers, Management or leadership and board or directors.\nSystems and Software Skills:\n10 years of professional computer skills, including Microsoft Office.\nOther Qualifications:\nValid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required. \nMust be able to comply with SFS’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.\nFrequent travel required, up to 50%.\nPHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform Essential Job Duties.\nPhysical Requirements:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for long periods.Employee will occasionally be required to drive, bend, kneel, balance, lift \nWork Environment:\nEmployee will consistently be required to work indoors in an office or remote setting, work alone and with others.
