It's measured by your ability to help the organization execute better, make informed decisions, and deliver lasting business value.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nLead Summit's most complex, high-impact strategic initiatives from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with business strategy and organizational priorities. \nPartner with executive leadership to define initiative objectives, establish governance, evaluate tradeoffs, and develop execution strategies that balance business value, organizational capacity, and risk. \nDevelop integrated execution strategies that coordinate multiple workstreams, organizational dependencies, milestones, resource needs, and executive decision points. \nFacilitate executive steering committees, governance meetings, and strategic planning discussions that enable timely, informed decision-making. \nAnticipate organizational risks, competing priorities, and cross-functional dependencies, proactively identifying solutions before they impact execution. \nGuide business leaders through organizational change by helping teams prepare for, adopt, and sustain new processes, operating models, and strategic initiatives. \nEstablish and continuously improve program governance, delivery standards, and best practices that strengthen how Summit executes cross-functional work. \nMeasure initiative outcomes, benefit realization, and organizational impact, ensuring strategic investments deliver meaningful business results. \nCoach, mentor, and influence program teams and business leaders on effective program management practices without direct authority. \nServe as a trusted advisor to executive leadership by bringing clarity, structure, and practical recommendations to complex business challenges.\nWhat You’ll Deliver:\nSuccessful execution of Summit's highest-priority strategic initiatives. \nGreater organizational alignment across executive leadership, business functions, and enterprise priorities. \nGovernance practices that improve accountability, transparency, and decision-making across complex initiatives. \nEarly visibility into organizational risks, dependencies, and resource constraints before they become barriers to execution. \nMeasurable business outcomes that support operational excellence, strategic growth, and long-term scalability. \nContinuous improvements that strengthen Summit's ability to consistently execute enterprise initiatives. \nYou’ll Thrive in This Role If You:\nHave extensive experience leading enterprise programs, organizational transformation, or company-wide strategic initiatives. \nBuild trusted relationships with executives and influence decisions through credibility, collaboration, and sound judgment. \nNavigate ambiguity with confidence and help others find clarity in complex situations. \nSee connections across teams, initiatives, and business priorities that others may overlook. \nBalance strategic thinking with disciplined execution and strong follow-through. \nChallenge assumptions respectfully, facilitate productive conversations, and help leaders make informed decisions when priorities compete. \nEnjoy improving not only what the business delivers-but how the business works together. \nBelieve successful initiatives aren't driven by process-they're driven by alignment, trust, and shared ownership. \nBonus Points:\nExperience leading enterprise transformation, acquisition integration, or operational excellence initiatives. \nExperience establishing program governance, portfolio management practices, or enterprise delivery frameworks. \nExperience supporting executive operating cadences, strategic planning, or enterprise portfolio management. \nFamiliarity with Agile or hybrid delivery approaches. \nFamiliarity with managed services, cloud infrastructure, enterprise technology, or cybersecurity environments. \nPMP, PgMP, Prosci, Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable professional certifications. \nHow We Work at Summit\nHow you approach the work matters just as much as what you do. Compensation is based on the responsibilities of the role, experience, skills, geographic market, and internal equity.
