This role requires strong leadership, superior customer service skills, and the ability to build teams.\nThe Regional Manager will serve as a key liaison between ownership groups, asset managers, and onsite teams to ensure properties achieve operational, financial, and resident satisfaction goals.\nResponsibilities:\n(include, but are not limited to)\nProvide direct leadership and support to Property Managers across a designated regional portfolio.\nDrive operational performance to meet or exceed ownership/investor expectations.\nDevelop and execute turnaround strategies for underperforming or troubled assets.\nMonitor property financials, including rent collections, expense management, and variance reporting.\nEnsure timely and accurate reporting to ownership groups, asset managers, and executive leadership.\nMaintain strong customer service standards to maximize resident retention and community reputation.\nTrain, mentor, and develop onsite management teams to ensure consistency in policies, procedures, and performance.\nConduct regular property visits to assess physical conditions, operational practices, and compliance adherence.\nPartner with accounting and asset management to ensure accuracy of budgets, forecasts, and collections.\nLead and support marketing, leasing, and resident engagement initiatives to drive occupancy.\nCollaborate with ownership and investors on strategy, financial goals, and capital improvements.\nEnforce company policies and promote a positive, team-oriented culture.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n5+ years of regional manager experience in the multi-family housing industry.\nProven success in asset recovery, turnaround strategies, and operational improvement.\nDemonstrated track record of effective collections management and improving delinquency metrics.\nExcellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.\nStrong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and investor reporting.\nCustomer service-focused, with the ability to build trust and positive relationships with residents, staff, investors, and ownership groups.\nProficiency in property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or similar).\nAbility to travel regularly within assigned portfolio.\nPhysical Demands: The job is periodically sedentary but requires mobility (i.e., climbing stairs or squatting) to tour and inspect apartments/communities. Involves sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods and stooping for brief periods.
