As an Analyst, you not only will be a trusted advisor to the Sales team but also will work closely with senior executive and leadership including the CRO and CFO to ensure deals are optimally managed to their conclusion.\nGeneral Job Duties & Responsibilities\nAct as a first point of contact and strategic advisor to the Sales organization on all matters related to pricing / deal economics and structure\nCollaborate with Finance, Legal, Sales and Operations organizations on complex, non-standard transactions and provide business insights and recommendations regarding pricing and deal structure\nInternally drive the deal process including the day-to-day aspects of quoting and commercial terms approvals to swiftly and efficiently execute deals\nProvide regular training to Sales organization on topics related to deal structure and pricing\nAct as a key stakeholder in projects led by the team to improve systems, tools, and processes\nDefine and assess key business metrics to track deal performance and identify areas of opportunity\nMinimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\nBA/BS degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field is a plus\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pricing, finance, deal desk or analytics role\nStrong knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ\nDeep experience working cross-functionally with multiple internal stakeholders including Sales, Finance and Legal\nWorking knowledge of SaaS subscription models and revenue recognition\nAbility to work in a fast-paced team environment and willingness to work extended hours during end of quarters\nTeam player with a high level of emotional maturity and extremely strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills\nAbout Us\nSumo Logic, Inc. helps make the digital world secure, fast, and reliable by unifying critical security and operational data through its Intelligent Operations Platform. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but aren’t limited to) role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, location, and experience.
