You'll dig into transaction patterns and customer behaviour to catch potential money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit activity, working closely with colleagues across the business to land on the right call. If you want a role where sharp attention to detail genuinely protects people and the business, this is where you'll find it.\n Take a look inside our Sofia office\nWhat you'll do\nInvestigate transactions and accounts flagged by the transaction monitoring system to assess potential risk\n\nAnalyse transaction patterns and customer behaviour to identify signs of money laundering or other financial crime\n\nDocument investigation findings clearly and work with colleagues across the business to reach a final decision on suspicious activity\n\nKeep up to date with AML regulations and industry best practice, applying them in day to day investigations\n\nYou'll be great for this role if\nAt least 1-2 years of experience in AML investigation and financial crimes reporting or a similar field.\n\nA strong understanding of AML regulations, financial products, and services.\n\nProven ability to conduct data analysis and complex investigations.\n\nProficiency with technical tools like Microsoft Excel and other data analysis software.\n\nExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.\n\nStrong communication skills, with excellent command of spoken and written English.\n\nA proactive and adaptable team player who can thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.\n\nA quick learner with the ability to quickly grasp and apply new policies and procedures.\n\nWhy you should join SumUp\nOpportunity to work with SumUppers globally on large-scale fintech products used by millions of businesses worldwide, from our modern Sofia office.
