The Senior Internal Auditor will help implement the best industry practices for a robust and proactive internal auditing function at SumUp.\nThe Senior Auditor will report directly to the Global Head of Internal Audit. This person will work closely with the Board, Audit Committee, key stakeholders and external auditors. This is an individual contributor role. If you're looking for a role where your work genuinely matters and your voice is heard, this is it.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPlan and conduct regulatory, compliance, and operational audits across SumUp's European markets\nPrepare audit reports, present findings to management, and recommend improvements\nContribute towards the development and improvement of the Internal Audit plan, framework, methodology and templates\nCoordinate internal audit-related projects together with the relevant teams\nManage relationships with stakeholders and foster a proactive culture towards internal controls and compliance\nYou’ll be great for this role if you have:\nStrong audit experience in financial services, ideally within payments or regulated fintech\nDeep knowledge of the European regulatory environment and internal controls frameworks\nComfort operating in large, complex, international organisations where priorities shift\nExceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as a credible partner at all levels\nA natural curiosity for data, with the ability to look beyond the numbers and draw sound conclusions\nNeed for internal audit experience in-house, with the ability to help establish and grow this capability\n\nWhy You Should Join SumUp\nOpportunity to work with a truly global, multicultural team from our Dublin hub just steps from Harcourt Street Luas and charming Iveagh Gardens.
