Other responsibilities include product portfolio enhancement, profitability improvement, and broaden technology innovation.\nEssential Job Functions:\nReceives project assignments from supervisor and formulates inks and coatings as required.\nCarries out approved standard test procedures and develops new ones.\nPrepares prints of inks and coatings or other exhibits for internal and customer use.\nParticipates in planning and analysis of lab projects as required.\nIn association with the Supervisor, submits final formulation to manufacturing or manufacturing services.\nAssists in producing technical data write-up for internal and customer use.\nPrepares oral and written reports to supervisor as required.\nRecords and maintains records and reports project progress\nAccountable for good housekeeping and proper safety practices.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nRequired Experience & Education:\nBS/BA degree in chemistry, graphic arts or other related science degree or equivalent experience.\nMust be able to communicate technical data - customer reports, technology transfer, internal presentation\nCompetency on internal programs such as GPM, SAP, ISO and RisQ.\nSolid Math skills and Time/Project Management skills\nPreferred Experience & Education:\nPrior experience in ink formulations using solvent, water, or energy curable based technology\nBENEFITS\nWe offer a range of market-competitive total rewards that include merit increases, paid holidays, Paid Time Off, medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability benefits, 401(k)+match and life insurance.
