In this role, you will serve as a key resource for employees and managers by providing timely support, maintaining employee data, coordinating HR transactions, and helping ensure a positive employee experience.\nThis position is ideal for an HR professional with hands-on experience in an HR customer service, HR shared services, or HR call center environment supporting employees and managers with questions related to payroll, benefits, leave administration, short-term disability (STD), and other HR programs. Successful candidates will be highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat You'll Do\nServe as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, leave administration, and other HR programs.\nManage a high volume of requests received through phone, email, shared mailboxes, and HR service systems.\nSupport and maintain HR systems, processes, and employee records.\nProvide user support and guidance related to HR systems and processes.\nAssist with employee onboarding and offboarding activities.\nSupport I-9 compliance processes, reporting, and audits.\nCoordinate unemployment claim administration and respond to related inquiries.\nRespond to employment verification requests.\nGenerate reports, conduct audits, and assist with HR data analysis.\nCreate and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and quality assurance reviews.\nCollaborate with HR team members and cross-functional partners to support business initiatives and projects.\nMaintain confidentiality and ensure the security of employee information.\nAssist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.\nExperience\nMinimum of 1 year of professional work experience required.\nMinimum of 1 year of Human Resources experience required.\nExperience in an HR customer service, HR shared services, or HR-focused call center environment supporting employees and managers with inquiries related to payroll, benefits, short-term disability (STD), leave administration, HR policies, and other HR programs is required.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nSkills & Qualifications\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nAbility to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly.\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.\nAbility to work independently and adapt to changing business needs.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nDemonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree.\nExperience with ADP and/or other HR systems.\nExperience working in a union environment.\nBilingual (English/Spanish or other language) preferred.\nExperience supporting employees and managers in a multi-site, union, and HR shared services environment.\nLanguage Requirements\nAbility to read, write, and speak English proficiently.\nBilingual skills are a plus.\nWhy Join Sun Chemical?\nAt Sun Chemical, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to an organization that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and service excellence.
