This person is responsible for fostering a positive, safe, and efficient production environment while ensuring high product quality. The successful candidate will be a hand-on leader who can develop teams, optimize processes and consistently meet business expectations.\nResponsibilities:\nReview daily & weekly production schedule with MRPs and Site manager\n\nDirects the work of the production workforce to meet production deadlines \nOperate production equipment proficiently and safely (i.e. three roll mills, mixers, forklift) \nEnsure that all production documentation is completed completely and accurately \nPerform SAP functions related to production with ability to navigate additional databases as required. \nStrong organization and time management skills \nParticipates as safety committee member \nWorks closely with site management to ensure that site meets OTIF targets. \nOversee daily housekeeping and 5S program for production department \nFacilitates departmental OJT training. \nParticipates and provides feedback for employee evaluations, discipline, counsel, coaching and handling of complaints \nMay perform other duties as required.
