This includes planning and executing daily production schedules, ensuring high-quality standards, maintaining a safe working environment, and steering a team of production operators and technicians. The role requires strong stewardship, hands-on technical comprehension of electronic assembly processes, and a keen focus on operational efficiency, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.\nWhat you would be expected to do:\nOversee and supervise the day-to-day operations of the production floor, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.\nMonitor production processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.\nCoordinate with Materials Handling Teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components for production.\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.\nTrain, mentor, and develop production staff to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance.\nConduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns within the production team.\nWork with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues, improve product quality, and optimize production processes.\nImplement Kaizen tenets and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline operations.\nPrepare regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as production output, throughput, and efficiency.\nMonitor production processes and equipment performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.\nassist New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including training and trial production.\nYou might be a strong candidate if you:\nPossess a degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering, manufacturing/industrial engineering.\nHave a minimum 5 years work experience in the electronics industry, including 2 years in supervisory.\nDemonstrate proven experience in a production supervisory role within the electronics manufacturing industry, with a strong comprehension of the CKD/SKD process and technology.\nHave excellent stewardship and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve production goals.\nDemonstrate solid knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management tenets and practices.\nHave strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement\nPossess excellent communication and people relations skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.\nHave the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.\nDemonstrate knowledge of quality management systems, lean manufacturing guidelines, and safety regulations.\nPossess knowledge of Kaizen 6S Tenets\nHave a comprehension of production machinery and proper assembly procedures.\nPossess excellent knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.\nWhat we offer:\nAn opportunity to grow as a professional in a dynamic, fast growing, high impact industry; \n The chance to work in an open minded, collaborative culture surrounded by enthusiastic Greenlighters who are driven by the challenge of continuously innovating and growing a smart, sustainable business with profound impact on the world; \nA truly multicultural experience: you will have the chance to work with and learn from people from different geographies, nationalities, and backgrounds.
