You will work closely with SAP functional consultants, business stakeholders, data engineers, and external SAP partners to understand requirements, develop SAP customizations, build data integrations, and enable reliable movement of SAP data into our broader data ecosystem. You are the right candidate if you have a solid SAP ABAP technical foundation, knowledge of the modern SAP tech stack, in particular Data Sphere, and an interest in ensuring SAP integrates well within a modern cloud data environment. You will be given the opportunity to strengthen your Python, SQL, and AWS-related skills.\nWhat you will be expected to do:\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP, including custom reports, workflows, enhancements, and integrations.\nTranslate business and functional requirements into scalable SAP technical solutions, with a strong focus on SAP SD processes.\nDesign and maintain reliable SAP data extraction and integration pipelines using technologies such as ODP, CDS Views, and OData, and leverage Data Sphere as an endpoint or intermediary.\nAssist SAP data integration with the broader data platform, including SAP Datasphere and cloud-based data environments.\nPartner with SAP functional consultants, data engineering teams, business stakeholders, and external SAP partners to deliver solutions and resolve complex issues.\nTake ownership of SAP technical problems, document solutions, and help build in-house SAP capabilities while reducing reliance on external partners.\nYou might be a strong candidate if you have/are:\nA bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.\n4+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.\nStrong knowledge of ABAP programming and SAP development practices.\nExperience developing and assisting with SAP customizations in an enterprise environment.\nGood knowledge of at least one SAP functional module; SAP SD experience is strongly preferred.\nDemonstrated ability to work with functional consultants and translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nExperience with SAP data extraction and integration mechanisms such as ODP, CDS Views, and OData.\nproficiency of SAP ERP data structures, tables, and relationships.\nExperience working with SAP interfaces and integrations with external systems.\nExposure to SAP Datasphere or similar SAP data/integration technologies is highly desirable.\nStrong SQL skills and good understanding of data engineering concepts.\nExperience with Python and/or cloud data platforms is a plus.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate complex SAP issues.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.\nGood to have:\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA RISE.\nExperience with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Data Services (BODS), or SAP BTP.\nExperience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI.\nExperience building data pipelines into cloud data warehouses or data lakes.\nExperience with AWS, Redshift, Airflow, Spark/PySpark, or similar data engineering technologies.\nSAP ABAP or relevant SAP certifications.\nExperience working with external SAP implementation
