Applicants must be returning to their studies following the internship and be able to provide confirmation from their educational institution that the placement forms part of their course requirements.\nAbout the role:\nThe Information Security Analyst participates in the delivery of the Information Security Vulnerability Management capability and corresponding services within the Digital Security Threat Management department.\nThe role’s primary mandate is in the vulnerability management service including management of internal and external scanning processes and tracking and reporting vulnerabilities identified.\nWhat you will do:\nAssist with monitoring, triaging, and tracking security vulnerabilities.\nSupport vulnerability scanning activities and validation of scan results.\nHelp maintain vulnerability metrics, reports, and dashboards.\nResearch emerging vulnerabilities, threats, and industry advisories.\nAssist in assessing vulnerability risk using threat intelligence and exploitability information.\nSupport the tracking of critical and zero-day vulnerabilities.\nContribute to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.\nIdentify opportunities to automate or enhance existing security processes.\nWhat you need to succeed:\nCurrently pursuing a degree or diploma in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.\nStrong interest in cybersecurity and technology.\nBasic understanding of networking, operating systems, and security concepts.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nPreferred Skills:\nKnowledge of vulnerability management or threat intelligence concepts.\nFamiliarity with CVEs, CVSS, CISA KEV, or security advisories.\nExperience with scripting (Python or PowerShell) is an advantage.\nExposure to security tools, ServiceNow, cloud technologies, or cybersecurity labs.\nCurious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.\n**Interns in this position will work fully on-site at our Waterford office for the duration of their internship. **\nJob Category:\nIT -
