This includes delivering new services and enhancing new features in the existing services as well as managing the day-to-day delivery of the team to meet the immediate needs of the business. The Director takes a leadership role in setting team vision and direction, ensures standards and policies are maintained and systems and solutions are compatible with standard information systems architecture, tools, policies and procedures.\nPRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nEnsures development and delivery of all products and services within the Sunlife DentaQuest Infrastructure and Cloud hosting vertical.\nEnsures service delivery for all key areas of the infrastructure (O365, Active Directory/LDAP, Wintel Servers, Linux Servers, Azure hosting, AWS hosting, Virtualization and physical hardware, Data storage as well as data backups, Virtual desktop (VDI) and desktop engineering)\nAssure Disaster Recovery is in place and tested as required for critical business services\nTakes a leadership role in setting team vision and direction, ensures standards and policies are maintained, and systems and solutions are well documented, inventoried, and compliant with technical and operational standards, policies, and procedures.\nDevelops benchmark measures (KPI’s, technical measurements, Performance targets and SLA’s) to evaluate productivity within both the team and technology.\nManages division-level technical implementation projects.\nLicense and contract management for Infrastructure and supporting teams\nDevelops support plans and implementation strategies to meet the IT needs of the enterprise end-users.\nLead financial management activities, including the creation and maintenance of the technical services budget - both operational and capital.\nLeads personnel management activities, including performance management and career development activities.\nSupports efforts to develop core competencies, processes, and disciplines and supports sharing of best practices.\nInteracts with business and IT teams as needed, as it relates to technical implementations and technical support.\nWorking with the DQ Network Operations Center team to provide KA’s and training so more support is provided out of the NOC\nManage Capacity and Spend management across the infrastructure\nParticipates in activities to improve departmental and organizational performance - Improve KPI numbers\nPerforms other duties, as assigned.\nSalary Range: $160,300 - $240,500\nAt our company, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. We are dedicated to creating a work environment where everyone is rewarded for their contributions.\n\nJOB REQUIREMENTS:\n· Education and experience\no Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.\no An advanced degree in Information Systems, Business, Planning, or a related field is a plus.\no 10 years leadership experience of a multi-site enterprise infrastructure organization\no Direct supervision and staff development experience\no Experience managing outsourced service and service providers\n· Certifications:\no Foundational Cloud Certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or Azure Fundamentals are required with higher levels of certification preferred\no IITL / ITSM certifications are a strong plus to demonstrate operational discipline\no The PMP certification can be a differentiator for a candidate\n· Ways of working\no Self-starter who takes responsibility\no Customer first delivery\no Attention to detail in all aspects of the job\no Ability to provide critical thinking and decision making\no Ability to delegate and manage priority across the team(s) and across the organization\no Strong interpersonal skills - both written and verbal.
