It is intended to support timely client wire processing, prevent backlogs in Treasury operations, provide dependable coverage when Finance Operations Manager and Finance Operations Specialists are absent, and allow Finance Leaders to remain focused on higher-value and more complex responsibilities.\nThe Finance Operations Assistant is an entry-level role within the Sun Life Private Wealth Finance team, providing day-to-day Treasury, cash management and financial operations support. This opportunity is suited to a Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics student or recent graduate with an interest in Treasury and strong attention to detail.\nThe role supports accurate and timely processing, recording and reconciliation of Treasury transactions in accordance with established procedures and controls. This position reports to the Senior Finance Operations Specialist.\nThis is a nine-month fixed-term contract.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSet up and process wire transfers, including validating instructions, coordinating approvals and tracking completion. \nComplete accurate and timely Treasury data entry and assist with bank, cash and account reconciliations. \nSupport daily cash management activities, including monitoring balances, updating cash positions and maintaining trackers. \nAdminister incoming and outgoing Treasury transactions, including payments, receipts and transfers, and maintain supporting records. \nReview transactions for completeness and accuracy, investigate routine differences and escalate exceptions as appropriate. \nProvide vacation and absence coverage for routine Treasury and Finance Operations activities using documented procedures. \nRequirements:\nUniversity degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics \n2+ years experience as a student intern working in this field \nInterest in Treasury, cash management or financial operations. \nStrong attention to detail and a high level of data-entry accuracy. \nBasic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to organize work, follow procedures and meet deadlines. \nClear communication skills, sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly. \nSalary Range: 37,600.00 - 50,800.00 EUR Annual\nAt our company, we are committed to pay transparency and equity.
