Working alongside engineers, product partners, and platform teams, you will help integrate AI capabilities into engineering processes while contributing to the future direction of quality engineering across the enterprise.\nThis position is well suited for someone who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience applying AI technologies to solve real-world problems. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be expected to contribute technical expertise, influence design decisions, and help advance emerging engineering practices while continuing to grow your own technical leadership capabilities.\nWhat You Will Do?\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain software solutions supporting the team’s agentic QE orchestration tool \nBuild and enhance AI-enabled capabilities that improve engineering productivity and quality outcomes. \nDesign and implement agentic workflows that include augment testing, automation, and software delivery processes. \nDevelop integrations between AI agents, engineering tools, testing frameworks, and platform services. \nContribute to the evolution of AI-assisted testing capabilities and engineering automation solutions. \nCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify opportunities for platform improvements and innovation. \nDevelop APIs, services, and applications using modern software engineering practices. \nParticipate in technical design discussions and contribute ideas that improve platform architecture and engineering outcomes. \nContribute to platform standards, reusable components, and engineering best practices. \nSupport experimentation and proof-of-concept activities involving emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions. \nUtilize Agile delivery practices and continuous feedback to iteratively improve platform capabilities. \nShare knowledge, collaborate with peers, and help foster technical growth across the team. \nSupport platform users through troubleshooting, technical consultation, and enablement activities.\nWhat Do You Need to Succeed?\nBachelor’s Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.\n5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting software solutions within Agile delivery environments. \nExperience designing, building, integrating, or supporting AI agents, agentic workflows, and AI-enabled software solutions. \nExperience building developer tooling or integrations that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs), including IDE extensions, Model Context Protocol (MCP), tool-calling APIs, and prompt/context engineering. \nStrong proficiency in Python and experience developing software using modern programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#. \nExperience designing and developing APIs, services, integrations, and automation solutions. \nWorking knowledge of modern test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Bruno/REST, PyETL, JUnit, Jest, pytest, or xUnit, with the ability to generate, troubleshoot, and enhance automated tests programmatically. \nExperience with source control, branching strategies, and modern software delivery practices using Git-based workflows. \nExperience with PostgreSQL and modern data modelling principles. \nExperience working with cloud platforms and modern application deployment patterns. AWS experience is particularly relevant. \nFamiliarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container-based development environments. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and rapidly evolving technologies. \nExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.\nPreferred Skills / Assets:\nExperience applying AI and agentic capabilities within testing, quality engineering, or software delivery workflows. \nFamiliarity with agent governance, evaluation frameworks, observability, and responsible AI practices. \nExperience with workflow automation, engineering productivity platforms, and developer enablement tooling. \nExperience supporting technology adoption through communities of practice, onboarding, coaching, or enablement activities. \nWhy Join QEP (Quality Engineering Platform) ?\nQEP is actively exploring how AI and agentic technologies can reshape quality engineering, testing, and software delivery.
