The role also provides insight into how finance teams collaborate with auditors, actuarial partners, management, and regional stakeholders.\nAs an intern, you will:\nSupport month-end and quarter-end financial reporting activities, including reconciliations, reviews, and close processes\nAnalyze financial and operational data using Excel, AI-enabled tools, and other technologies to generate insights and support decision-making\nParticipate in process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting quality\nCollaborate with colleagues across Finance and other business areas on projects, problem-solving, and day-to-day operations\nSupport ad hoc analysis, presentations, and special projects as assigned\nPreferred Skills\nStrong interest in business, finance, analytics, or problem-solving\nComfortable working with Excel and data\nAnalytical mindset with good attention to detail\nGood written and spoken English\nQualifications\nUndergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data, or a related discipline\nStrong academic performance\nAvailable for a full-time internship from January to June 2027\nAt Sun Life, we cultivate a High-Performance, Caring Culture that empowers our people to achieve outstanding results, embrace continuous growth, and create meaningful impact.
