Korea, Japan, Taiwan etc). Will require mapping of local pharmaceutical industry key players, API demand, supply, key regulatory, technical and commercial requirements and develop business with customers to drive and expand API business.\nAreas of Responsibility:\nBusiness Development (50%):\nUnderstanding API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) market for countries assigned. Will require mapping of local pharmaceutical industry key players, API demand, supply, key regulatory, technical and commercial requirements.\nMapping internal API product portfolio to identify key products to promote for each potential key customer.\nConnect with potential customers and pitch products, explore new opportunities, lead price negotiations and evaluate deals as per customer requirements.\nSales and Marketing (30%):\nDrive sales target achievement for the assigned region & identify business opportunities and devise marketing strategies to expand customer base, increase market share, and drive revenue growth.\nManage key customer accounts and engage with key customers to maintain healthy long-term relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction by achieving delivery and service quality norms to build organization’s brand value.\nMarket intelligence Gather changing customer and market needs, competitor activity, and industry best practices that can be emulated.\nSales allied functions(20%):\nWork with cross-functional teams such as regulatory, finance, quality etc to drive customer relationship management, query resolution, documentation, approvals required, follow ups for payments.\nCoordinate with other departments such as R&D, Operations, and SCM to plan orders, share inputs on capacity planning, and timely product delivery to fulfil customer requirements while ensuring adherence to state and country-level regulations.\n\nJob Scope\n\nInternal Interactions (within the organization)\n\nRegulatory, finance, quality, R&D, SCM\n\nExternal Interactions (outside the organization)\n\nCustomers, Industry experts, Pharma Industry Bodies\n\nGeographical Scope\n\nRegulated markets (such as USA, Europe, LATAM, APAC, Russia, MENA).
