This position will work primarily as a Planner / long-range scheduler.\nThis position will monitor end to end, from RM / PM availability to inventory of Finished Products\nThis position will work directly with Buyers in Supply Chain activities.\nThis position will also work closely with the Operations and Quality teams to ensure timely execution of manufacturing and release plans\n. Ability to work well in a team and individually following GMP standards per SOPs.\nThis position will be responsible for creating Purchase Requisitions, working with Buyers / Procurement team ensuring on time delivery.\nAn understanding of SAP is desirable to fulfill this function as well as experience with Microsoft Excel.\nUnderstanding the whole supply chain is important for effective coordination and liaison with customers.\n\nArea Of Responsibility\n\nPlace Purchase Requisitions for the Procurement of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient), Excipients, Packaging Material, and process materials.\nManage proper inventory controls for API, Excipients, Packaging Material, and process materialsto ensure accuracy of inventory projections.\nCollaborate closely with Procurement team monitoring and managing component availability to ensure that supply plans will be fulfilled, and proactively working to mitigate and resolve any product supply issues.\nIdentify and resolve capacity short-falls either with downstream demand collaboration or upstream supplier schedule changes\nMeet regularly with Procurement team/production planner(s) to discuss key in-stock and inventory issues, focus areas for the month, and extended timeframes\nEnsure product continuity of supply for all materials that fall under their assigned portfolio of products\nAdvise management and appropriate internal teams of the current and future status of product supply for existing products.\nEvaluate existing processes and improve if necessary\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nWork Conditions:\n\nOffice\nManufacturing\nWarehouse\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nSit, use hands, fingers or feel, talk and hear\nOperate computer/office machines\nLift up to 10 lbs.\n\nTravel Estimate\n\nUp to 10 %\n\nEducation and Job Qualification\n\nBachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Management, Economics, Business/Administration.\n\nExperience\n\n1 - 2 years’ experience in Supply Planning, preferably in Inventory Management or Materials Planning\nExperience in key supply chain functions including material requirements, purchasing, manufacturing, and inventory\nAbility to use MS Excel, Microsoft Access, or other similar database software, including running pre-formatted reports preferred. Knowledge of SAP & Kinaxis is preferred.\nAbility to identify and evaluate key supply issues with approved vendors for and develop appropriate alternative solutions to meet production goals\nThe presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $64,500 to $71,500. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan.
