and infrastructure services across cluster sites Halol, Baska and Dadra) while providing support to other Sun Pharma locations.\nCommunicate IT-related updates, challenges, and insights effectively to management and peers.\nOversee server and network operations, including troubleshooting connectivity issues, installing, maintaining, and integrating new equipment.\nResolve or escalate technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.\nManage deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and support for all IT infrastructure systems (PCs, laptops, operating systems, databases, IP telephony, network switches) and software applications.\nParticipate in hiring and managing IT personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, operate, and administer computer systems, networks, and telecommunications solutions.\nCollaborate with site department heads to optimize IT value, enhance operational efficiency, and align with global IT strategy, focusing on business impact and effectiveness.\nOversee financial aspects of IT operations at cluster sites, including purchasing, budgeting, and expenditure control for IT services and systems.\nEnsure the inventories of GxP systems, hardware, software, and related resources are available across cluster sites.\nProject Management: -\nEvaluate and collaborate with business teams to identify new site-specific requirements, and design, develop, and implement local IT solutions leveraging the latest technologies.\nPrioritize and assign projects based on management directives and business needs.\nEnsure security measures are assessed and implemented in compliance with company policies and industry best practices.\nTranslate user requirements into system specifications, presenting information in a clear and understandable manner.\nWork closely with project teams to support and enhance custom-designed applications within the organization.\nCoordinate with system administrators to maintain stable interfaces between systems during upgrades and enhancements.\nParticipate in the implementation of global IT projects at the cluster sites to align with organizational objectives and departmental needs.\nCompliance Activities: -\nEnsure compliance with Computer Systems Validation requirements, IT policies, and procedures to meet regulatory standards and support various regulatory and statutory audits.\nMaintain IT audit readiness in alignment with cGMP and applicable regulatory requirements.\nProvide support to business teams during regulatory and customer audits related to computer systems.\nAssist in investigations to identify root causes of IT-related deviations, initiate CAPA in consultation with QA, and implement measures to prevent recurrence and minimize potential deviations.\nEnsure all system changes are properly assessed, approved, implemented, and reviewed in a controlled manner.\nParticipate in reviewing and streamlining System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) documentation, Computerized System Validation (CSV) including qualification scripts, execution records, and validation summary reports.\nReview and maintain inventory of documentation, contract details, and validation/qualification reports for global and local systems.\nEnsure annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) for critical IT Infrastructure are in place for the cluster sites and oversee preparation and execution of preventive maintenance schedules as per defined processes.\nProvide support during internal and external audits as required across sites.\nAdministrative Responsibilities: -\nPeople Management: -\nSet specific, measurable, achievable, results-focused, and time-bound goals for the team and individual roles in alignment with business IT requirements.\nMentor team members by sharing knowledge and experience to enhance their technical skills, functional expertise, and quality awareness.\nMonitor, guide, and control team activities to ensure smooth IT operations and services, maintain compliance at the cluster sites, and provide global application support for other Sun Pharma locations.\nEvaluate and verify employee performance through review of completed work assignments and applied work techniques.\nIdentify team development and training needs and ensure appropriate training programs are implemented.\nProvide continuous mentoring to ensure adherence to organizational processes, improve technical proficiency, plan and execute training programs, enable job rotation, and enhance employee satisfaction.\nEnsure user training on new and existing software solutions and arrange/conduct IT team training on emerging technologies, processes, and GSOPs/SOPs.\nOffice Management: -\nEnsure adequate workspace arrangements for the IT team to provide a healthy, safe, and productive environment.\nCoordinate with other departments to fulfill office requirements, including stationery, storage space, and logistics for managing courier services.\nCoordination of IT Support Activities: -\nCoordinate with vendors for software systems and oversee maintenance of IT infrastructure across the Halol Cluster (Halol, Baska and Dadra).\nSupport the budget planning process by collaborating with the reporting head and providing consolidated inputs from various department heads to finalize the IT budget for the location.\nEngage with department heads and end users to deliver comprehensive support and resolve IT-related issues promptly.\nInterface with Site LITs, FMS support teams, and the IT Security team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.\nEnsure annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) and warranties for IT systems are in place and up to date.\nCoordinate with auditors to facilitate seamless audit activities.\nEnsure technical alignment with IT processes, manufacturing workflows, Infrastructure solutions, Microsoft technologies, and global compliance projects.\nBuild and sustain vendor relationships essential for hardware and software support.\nProvide IT process support to other Sun Pharma locations as required.\n\nJob Scope\n\nInternal Interactions (within the organization)\n\nPlant Heads, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, EHS, Procurement, Corporate IT infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, applications and compliance teams.\n\nExternal Interactions (outside the organization)\n\nTechnology vendors, system integrators, OEMs, service providers, consultants and regulatory/internal auditors, as applicable.\n\nGeographical Scope\n\nCluster responsibility for Halol, Baska and Dadra plants, with coordination across India Manufacturing and corporate IT.\n\nFinancial Accountability (cost/revenue with exclusive authority)\n\nAccountable for planning and monitoring the approved plant IT capital and operating budgets; financial authority as per the company delegation matrix.\n\nJob Requirements\n\nEducational Qualification\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
