Additionally, demonstrate a collaborative spirit, knowing that we ‘Thrive together’ and support each other’s journeys.”\nJob Summary:\nThe Job Holder will be responsible for leading and managing IT, OT, MES, L2 Integration, Automation, and Digital Manufacturing systems to ensure reliable, compliant, and secure operations across a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, operational efficiency, digital maturity, and business value.\nAreas Of Responsibility:\nLead end-to-end IT operations, infrastructure, Cyber Security and digital initiatives for the manufacturing site.\nManage IT infrastructure, networks, servers, storage, end-user computing, software assets, backup and business continuity.\nOversee Operational Technology (OT) systems, industrial networks, and system security controls across manufacturing operations.\nDrive the implementation, support, and continuous improvement of MES, L2 integration (IT/OT Integration), Manufacturing Informatics and Industry 4.0 initiatives.\nEnsure high availability and integration of PLC, SCADA, DCS, Historian, and automation systems with enterprise applications.\nManage Quality Informatics and Laboratory Systems, including CDS and non-CDS applications such as Empower, Chromeleon, LabX, LIMS, and related platforms.\nProvide governance and support for enterprise applications including SAP, EDMS, LMS, TrackWise, and other business-critical systems.\nEnsure compliance with GxP, Data Integrity, CSV, 21 CFR Part 11 & Annex 11 and regulatory requirements; support internal and external audits.\nLead system validation, qualification, SOP management, change control, deviation, CAPA, and other QMS activities.\nManage IT budgets, procurement, vendor relationships, contracts and service delivery performance.\nLead global IT/OT transformation projects at site level, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.\nBuild and lead a high-performing IT team through workforce planning, capability development, coaching, and performance management to support business and digital transformation objectives\nFacilitate effective communication, clarify accountabilities, coordinate with business owners and site management\nStrong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders and collaborate across cross-functional teams.\n\nTravel Estimate\n\nNeed Based\n\nJob Scope\n\nInternal Interactions (within the organization)\n\nPlant Management, Business Users, Corporate IT Teams, Quality and CSV Teams\n\nExternal Interactions (outside the organization)\n\nVarious Service providers, Vendors, Customers, Regulatory Auditors.\n\nGeographical Scope\n\nDirectly Manage site IT operation and at the same time provide onsite / offsite support to another site whenever needed.\n\nFinancial Accountability (cost/revenue with exclusive authority)\n\nSupport based on Approved Budgets for the sites - Both Opex & Capex\n\nJob Requirements\n\nEducational Qualification\n\nBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related discipline.\n\nSkills\n\nGAMP 5 | 21 CFR Part 11 & EU Annex 11 Compliance | IT Infrastructure | IT & OT Networks | MES | Automation (PLC/SCADA/DCS) | Quality Informatics | CSV | Cybersecurity| Regulatory Compliance | Digital Manufacturing | Vendor Management | Leadership.\n\nExperience\n\n14-18 Years in IT Operations, Preferably in Pharma Manufacturing (Injectable & OSD)\n\nAt Sun Pharma, your success and well-being are our top priorities!
