We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our 2nd shift manufacturing operations, ensuring plant equipment, utilities, and systems operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards.\nThis role is ideal for someone who takes pride in technical problem-solving, works well independently with limited supervision, and thrives in a regulated manufacturing environment.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nUnder limited supervision, you will support day-to-day maintenance operations and continuous improvement initiatives, including:\nMaintenance & Troubleshooting:\nPerform preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance in accordance with cGMP engineering standards.\nTroubleshoot and resolve simple to complex mechanical and equipment issues to ensure optimal operational efficiency.\nPerform non-routine maintenance tasks as needed to support production demands.\nSupport operational improvement and maintenance projects across the facility.\nDocumentation & Compliance:\nMaintain accurate documentation for preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and equipment usage logbooks.\nDevelop and maintain records for pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, utilities, and systems to support operational continuity and validation.\nPerform equipment, utility, and plant validation activities as required.\nFollow all company safety policies and comply with regulatory and cGMP requirements at all times.\nGeneral Responsibilities:\nPerform improvements and maintenance activities to support manufacturing operations.\nCollaborate with operations and engineering teams to maintain equipment reliability.\nComplete additional duties as assigned.\nWork Schedule:\n2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:15 PM - 11:45 PM\nTravel: Up to 5%\nWork Environment\nThis role is performed in a manufacturing/production environment and may involve exposure to:\nModerate to high noise levels\nFumes, odors, gases, and airborne dust\nMechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards\nElevated work areas and moving equipment\nStrict adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements is essential.\nPhysical Requirements:\nStand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl\nUse hands and fingers to handle tools and equipment\nAbility to operate production equipment, hand tools, and office/computer equipment\nWear required PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves\nLift up to 70 lbs\nVisual acuity including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School, Trade School, or Vocational Diploma, GED, or equivalent\nAbility to identify and source replacement parts using manuals and technical documentation\nGood math and computer skills, including MS Office and some experience with SAP\nOperational understanding and troubleshooting experience with manufacturing equipment such as:Blenders, Sifters, Mills, Printing Machines\nDust Collectors, Tablet Dedusters, Packaging Equipment\n\nBasic operational and troubleshooting knowledge of medium-level equipment including:Compression Machines, High Shear Mixers, Film Coaters, Capsule Fillers\n\nHands on electrical knowledge\nBasic understanding of cGMP and OSHA regulations\nGood interpersonal and communication skills\nEnglish proficiency at CEFR Basic A2 level\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAbility to read electrical drawings and control diagrams\nElectrical and controls troubleshooting using instruments such as multimeters\nWelding and plumbing experience, including sweating copper tubing\nKnowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting via Building Management Systems\nExperience with compressed air and pneumatic systems\nAbility to fabricate sheet metal guards and simple replacement parts\nBlack Seal Boiler License and HVAC Certification \nExperience:\nMinimum 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably within solid oral dosage pharmaceutical manufacturing\nWhy Join Us?\nStable Monday-Friday 2nd shift schedule\nWork in a regulated environment where quality and safety matter\nHands-on technical role with exposure to a wide range of equipment and systems\nOpportunity to contribute to operational reliability and continuous improvement\n\nThe presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $40/hr to $45/hr.
