The organisation seeks an engineering professional to provide technical oversight, quality assurance and project governance across all CSR construction projects nationwide\nPosition Overview:\nThe Engineer - CSR Projects will be responsible for planning, monitoring, quality assurance, procurement coordination, technical verification, payment facilitation and reporting for all CSR construction and infrastructure projects. The role will ensure that projects are executed within approved budgets, timelines and quality standards while creating sustainable community assets.\nResponsibilities:\nProject Planning & Technical Assessment:\nReview project proposals and assess technical feasibility.\nPrepare, review and validate BOQs, cost estimates, drawings and specifications. Standardise BOQ templates, Engineering SOPs, QA/QC protocol\nSupport budgeting, project planning and implementation scheduling.\nRecommend cost-effective and sustainable engineering solutions.\nConstruction Monitoring & Site Supervision:\nConduct regular site visits across India.\nTrack project progress against timelines and milestones.\nMonitor contractor performance and implementation quality.\nIdentify risks and recommend corrective actions.\nTechnical Oversight & Quality Assurance:\nVerify quality of materials and workmanship.\nEnsure compliance with engineering standards, safety norms and approved designs.\nConduct technical audits and quality inspections.\nMaintain quality control documentation.\nClimate resilient. Green building practice wherever possible and is cost effective\nMeasurement, Verification & Certification:\nVerify executed quantities against approved BOQs.\nReview contractor bills and work completion claims.\nCertify stage-wise progress and milestone completion.\nConduct final verification before asset handover.\nDocumentation, MIS & Reporting:\nPrepare site reports, progress reports and technical reviews.\nDevelop project completion reports and closure documentation.\nMaintain drawings, approvals, photographs and technical records.\nSupport management reviews and audits.\nTechnical risk register and mitigation planning\nProcurement & Payment Coordination:\nPrepare Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for approved requirements.\nCoordinate with Procurement teams for timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs).\nTrack procurement status and prevent implementation delays.\nFacilitate vendor and contractor payment release as per PO terms, contracts and milestones.\nVerify invoices, supporting documents and work certifications before payment processing.\nMaintain complete procurement and payment records for audit compliance.\nEnsure Quality engineering (quality vs cost)\nStakeholder Management & Asset Handover:\nCoordinate with NGOs, implementing agencies, consultants, contractors and government stakeholders.\nProvide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.\nTechnical appraisal of NGOs and vendor as required.\nSupport asset handover, maintenance planning and sustainability measures.\nProvide technical inputs for impact assessments and evaluations.\nConduct post-handover performance audit\n\nTravel Estimate\n\nExtensive travel across India\n\nJob Scope\n\nJob Requirements\n\nEducational Qualification\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)\n\nSpecific Certification\n\nNA\n\nExperience\n\n10- 15 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure development, engineering supervision or project management.\nAutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, GIS familiarity\nExperience in healthcare, education, WASH, rural infrastructure or CSR projects preferred.\nExperience managing projects across multiple locations\n\nSkill (Functional & Behavioural):\nTechnical & Behavioural Competencies:\nBOQ preparation and verification\nCost estimation and budgeting\nQuality assurance and quality control\nVendor and contractor management, technical assessment\nProject planning and scheduling\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nHigh integrity and accountability\nKey Deliverables & KPIs:\nProjects completed within approved budgets and timelines.\nQuality compliance across all project sites.\n100% timely preparation of PRs for approved project requirements.\nTimely coordination of PO issuance within agreed timelines.\nTimely facilitation of contractor/vendor payments after verification of documentation and milestones.\nZero project delays attributable to procurement coordination.\nZero audit observations related to procurement, invoices, payments or technical documentation.\nAccurate and timely submission of progress reports, MIS reports and completion reports.\nComplete and audit-ready records of PRs, POs, contracts, invoices and certifications.\n\nYour Success Matters to Us\nAt Sun Pharma, your success and well-being are our top priorities!
