We are seeking a Manufacturing & Packaging Supervisor to oversee daily production and packaging operations, ensure schedule attainment, drive compliance, and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with extensive pharmaceutical experience who thrives in a GMP-regulated setting and enjoys mentoring employees while improving processes and operational performance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProduction & Packaging Leadership\nPartner with Manufacturing Supervisors to develop and execute weekly manufacturing and packaging schedules.\nCoordinate activities within the department and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production timelines and micro schedules are achieved.\nSupport the Production Manager in monitoring and directing manufacturing and packaging operations.\nReview manufacturing and packaging work orders throughout the execution process.\nProvide leadership coverage and operational support during Production Manager meetings, audits, and absences.\nCompliance & Documentation\nDevelop, revise, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nReview and update manufacturing and packaging records to ensure compliance and accuracy.\nPerform manufacturing and packaging-related ERP transactions as required.\nWrite, review, and support manufacturing and packaging qualification protocols and reports.\nEnsure operations comply with cGMP requirements, FDA regulations, company procedures, and safety standards.\nContinuous Improvement & Investigations\nImprove manufacturing and packaging efficiencies through process improvements, reduced setup times, and equipment enhancement recommendations.\nSupport incident investigations, including internal deviations and market complaints, and assist in implementing effective corrective actions.\nPartner with technical writing teams to complete investigations and related documentation.\nTeam Leadership\nLead, coach, and mentor direct reports to drive performance, engagement, and professional development.\nEstablish goals and objectives for team members.\nConduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.\nEnsure employees are properly trained and operating in accordance with established procedures and regulations.\nQualifications:\nRequired\nMinimum High School Diploma, Trade School, Vocational School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.\nMinimum eight (8) years of pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or packaging experience.\nDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nSolid understanding of pharmaceutical line operations and line balancing.\nWorking knowledge of cGMPs, SOPs, FDA regulations, and safety requirements.\nStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities.\nAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet critical deadlines.\nSelf-motivated professional with a hands-on approach and strong sense of ownership.\nIntermediate English proficiency (CEFR B1+ or equivalent).\nPreferred\nBachelor's degree in a related field.\nExperience with serialization and aggregation systems.\nKnowledge of packaging validation processes.\nWork Environment:\nThis position operates within a pharmaceutical manufacturing, production, and laboratory environment and may involve exposure to:\nManufacturing equipment and production noise\nDust, fumes, odors, and gases\nMoving mechanical equipment\nChemical handling environments\nOther manufacturing-related hazards requiring adherence to safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)\nPhysical Requirements:\nRegularly required to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday.\nAbility to lift, move, and carry up to 50-75 pounds.\nAbility to navigate office, laboratory, warehouse, and production environments.\nMust be able to wear required PPE, including respirators, safety glasses/goggles, and safety shoes.\nTravel:\nUp to 5% travel may be required.\nWhy Join Us?\nJoin a team dedicated to quality, innovation, and operational excellence. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan, and may be eligible for the Long Term Incentive Plan.
