Maintain compliance with all state and federal guidelines with emphasis on current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) requirements.\n\nArea Of Responsibility\n\nParticipates in maintaining records on facility and utilities, as well as its operation\nSupports maintenance programs consistent with cGMP engineering maintenance requirements\nInteract with and direct vendors for manufacturing improvement (i.e Clean Utilities, Boilers, Chillers, etc..)\nPerforms preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to facility and utility equipment\nOperates facility and utility equipment\nSupports Alarm Management Program\nSupports Alarm response Program\nPerform non-routine and off-hours tasks as necessary\nSupport area validation, calibration, and certification efforts\nSolve simple problems related to equipment or process\nSupport equipment, utility, and plant validation as needed\nFollows maintenance SOPs for manufacturing and critical system equipment, and utilities\nFollow all company policies related to job safety\nWork without supervision using some standard procedures as well as troubleshooting and decision making\nLeads troubleshooting of facilities and critical utility problems\nLead operations improvement and maintenance projects\nLeads improvements and maintenance as required to support all operations\nSupport validation maintenance program\nSupports the execution of validations for manufacturing equipment and processes as needed\nMaintain records for manufacturing equipment, and critical systems\nOther duties as assigned\n\nWork Conditions:\n\nOffice\nLab\nShop/shipping areas\nSome exposure to noise, hot and cold, outside elements, radiation exposure within allowable limits\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nStand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk, hear, taste, smell\nClose, distance and peripheral vision; depth perception, ability to focus\nAbility to operate production equipment and hand tools\nOperate hand truck\nOperate company truck\nCurrent, valid Driver's license\nOperate computer/office machines\nWear Safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves\nLift up to 70 lbs.\nAbility to work a flexible schedule\n\nTravel Estimate\n\nUp to 5%\n\nEducation and Job Qualification\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nTechnical certification preferred\nKnowledge of pharmaceutical Plant/Maintenance/manufacturing Operations or related environment\nKnowledge of aseptic techniques\nAbility to read & create understand engineering drawings\nState boilers “Special License to Operate 2nd fireman” preferred\nElectrician’s license preferred / a plus?\nAbility to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload\nFamiliarity with use of computers and MS Office\n\nExperience\n\nRequired:\nMinimum 4+ years related experience required, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry\nExperience with Building Automation Systems\nHAZMAT training\nProficient with use of hand tools and power equipment\nDemonstrated mechanical ability\nWillingness and ability to obtain Boiler Specialist License required;
