We are seeking a3rd shift Manufacturing Team Lead to support and guide Manufacturing Operators while actively performing production activities in a fast-paced cGMP-regulated environment.\nIn this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for operating critical manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, supporting production objectives, and serving as a key resource for troubleshooting and team development.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProduction Operations\nOperate equipment used throughout the primary manufacturing process, including:Glatt Fluid Bed Processors\nGranulation Equipment\nBlending Equipment\nTablet Compression Equipment\nCoating Systems\nImprinting Equipment\nBanding Equipment\nEncapsulation Equipment\n\nPerform machine setup, changeovers, cleaning, and operational adjustments as required.\nConduct line clearances to ensure readiness for production activities.\nReview Batch Production Records (BPRs) for completeness and accuracy.\nComplete SAP transactions and postings following batch completion.\nTroubleshoot equipment and process issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production specifications and maximize efficiency.\nQuality & Compliance\nEnsure adherence to established quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.\nComplete manufacturing documentation accurately and in a timely manner.\nMaintain strict compliance with cGMP requirements, SOPs, and company policies.\nPromote safe work practices and ensure proper operation of equipment in accordance with OSHA regulations and equipment manuals.\nLeadership & Team Development\nTrain, coach, and support Manufacturing Operators to ensure successful execution of production activities.\nServe as a technical resource and subject matter expert for production processes and equipment.\nEncourage teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department.\nProvide leadership support and assume supervisory responsibilities when supervisors are unavailable.\nQualifications:\nRequired\nHigh School Diploma, Trade School Diploma, Vocational School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.\nForklift certification or certification to operate related material-handling equipment.\nMinimum five (5) years of manufacturing or production experience within a primary pharmaceutical manufacturing process environment.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.\nSolid knowledge of cGMP regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements.\nWorking knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and procedures.\nStrong computer proficiency, including:Microsoft Office Suite\nSAP\n\nExcellent mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nBasic English proficiency (CEFR A2 or equivalent).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) pharmaceutical manufacturing.\nPrior experience mentoring, training, or leading manufacturing teams.\nExperience with batch record review, equipment setup, and process optimization initiatives.\nWork Environment:\nThis position operates in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to:\nManufacturing and production equipment\nElevated noise levels\nDust, fumes, odors, and industrial gases\nMoving mechanical equipment\nChemical processing environments\nProduction-related hazards requiring strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements\nPhysical Requirements:\nRegularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, and reach throughout the shift.\nFrequent use of hands for operating equipment and handling materials.\nAbility to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to work throughout manufacturing, warehouse, and production areas.\nMust be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, safety glasses/goggles, and safety shoes.\nTravel:\nNo travel required (0% travel).\nWhy Join Us?\nJoin a team dedicated to producing high-quality pharmaceutical products in a collaborative and safety-focused environment. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan, and may be eligible for the Long Term Incentive Plan.
