Touching Lives.\nJob purpose\nThe Warehouse Associate II co-ordinates, monitors and completes activities within the Warehouse, to ensure the safety, quality, production, and training needs are met, while coaching and mentoring team members to achieve the goals defined for the warehousing department.\nDuties and responsibilities\nSupport Sun Pharma warehouse operations, with a primary focus on shipping, distribution, and finished goods movement.\nBuild and prepare finished goods loads for shipment to:\nSun Pharma’s distribution network\nNJDC\nUPS\nNorthstar\nPhysically pick and stage finished goods pallets according to shipping requirements and load plans.\nVerify finished goods pallets for product, quantity, lot number, pallet identification, and shipment accuracy prior to loading.\nComplete putaways of finished goods pallets and ensure inventory is moved to the appropriate storage locations in a timely manner.\nCoordinate daily shipping activities with trucking and transportation companies, including scheduling carriers, confirming pickup requirements, and resolving transportation issues.\nComplete required SAP transactions associated with shipping, load building, inventory movements, and finished goods distribution.\nComplete SAP load bills accurately and ensure all required information is entered prior to shipment.\nPrepare, review, and submit all required shipping and distribution documentation.\nComplete required cross-border documentation for shipments to the United States, including customs and related transportation documents.\nComplete required documentation for ASN, Pro Forma Invoices, customs documentation, and other cross-border shipping requirements.\nCoordinate and prepare ambient and cold-chain shipments in accordance with production schedules and customer requirements.\nBuild loads based on approved shipping/load reports and ensure all shippable finished goods are included accurately.\nConduct trailer inspections prior to loading and shipment and report any safety, security, or suspicious concerns.\nEnsure trailers and transportation equipment meet applicable shipping requirements prior to loading.\nMaintain accurate inventory locations and ensure finished goods movements are properly documented in SAP.\nEnsure all warehouse and shipping transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner to maintain inventory accuracy.\nCoordinate with Warehouse Management, Distribution, Production, Quality, and other applicable Sun Pharma departments to ensure shipments are completed on schedule.\nEnsure finished goods are staged and available for shipment according to established shipping schedules.\nMaintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse and shipping environment in accordance with Sun Pharma SOPs and cGMP requirements.\nComplete all required GMP documentation accurately and within established timelines.\nFollow all applicable Sun Pharma safety policies, SOPs, and warehouse procedures.\nParticipate in inventory investigations, cycle counts, and resolution of inventory discrepancies as required.\nParticipate in and/or support Unplanned Deviations (UPDs), CAPAs, and Change Controls related to warehouse and distribution activities.\nComplete all required training and maintain personal training records.\nParticipate in the training and cross-training of warehouse employees as required.\nCommunicate shipping status, outstanding loads, transportation issues, and other operational concerns during shift handovers.\nPerform warehouse material-handling activities, including forklift and pallet truck operations, as required.\nPerform other warehouse, shipping, and distribution duties as assigned by Sun Pharma Management.\nQualifications\nMinimum Secondary School / High School Diploma.\nValid Driver’s License.\nValid Forklift License.\nMinimum 3-5 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, distribution, or transportation experience.\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience operating a Raymond Reach forklift.\nExperience with finished goods shipping and distribution, preferably within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.\nMinimum 1 year of experience using an ERP system, including inventory movements and shipping transactions.\nSAP experience required or strongly preferred, including load building, inventory movements, and load bills.\nExperience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.\nExperience coordinating with trucking and transportation companies.\nExperience with U.S. shipments and cross-border documentation is an asset.\nStrong understanding of warehouse, shipping, distribution, and material-handling practices.\nStrong understanding of GMP requirements and SOP compliance, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple shipments and deadlines.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and effectively as part of a team.\nAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet shipping deadlines.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy when handling finished goods, shipping documentation, and SAP transactions.\nAbility to investigate inventory or shipping discrepancies, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.\nAbility to make decisions within the scope of warehouse and distribution operations to maintain material flow.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office.\nAbility and willingness to take on additional warehouse and distribution responsibilities as required.\nWorking Conditions\nMajority of time spent working in the warehouse and shipping areas, with some time in a warehouse office environment.\nRegular interaction with trucking companies, transportation personnel, warehouse staff, and other Sun Pharma departments.\nMay be required to work overtime, weekends, or extended hours to meet shipping and distribution requirements.\nMay be contacted outside regular working hours regarding urgent or emergency warehouse/shipping issues.\nExposure to warehouse equipment and operational noise.\nMust comply with all applicable Sun Pharma safety, security, cGMP, and warehouse procedures.\nPhysical Requirements\nPosition requires significant standing and walking throughout the warehouse and shipping areas.\nFrequent physical handling, movement, picking, staging, and inspection of finished goods pallets.\nAbility to operate a Raymond Reach forklift and pallet truck safely.\nAbility to perform some heavy lifting and movement of materials.\nAbility to work safely in a warehouse environment and perform physically demanding shipping and distribution activities.\nDirect reports\nN/A\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy.\nThe presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $44,000 to $55,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan.
